On the afternoon of October 8, 2023, the Municipal Audit Bureau organized a meeting for the economic responsibility audit of Xu Boqiang, Secretary of the Party Group and Executive Vice President of the Ningbo Red Cross Society. Xu Shansui, a member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Municipal Audit Bureau, as well as members of the audit team, as well as relevant personnel from member units of the joint meeting of the Municipal Party Committee, Municipal Finance Bureau, Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, and Municipal Supervisory Commission, as well as members of the leadership team of the Municipal Red Cross Society, relevant business departments, and key leaders of subordinate units, attended this meeting.

At the meeting, the audit team read out the audit notice and introduced the key audit contents and audit work arrangements. Comrade Xu Boqiang gave a report on his performance of economic responsibilities during his tenure. Deputy Director Xu Shansui proposed three requirements for the audited unit and audit team on how to do a good job in this audit work:

Fully understand the supervisory function of auditing on leading cadres, the preventive function of auditing on the economy of departments and units, and the service function of auditing in promoting internal management of organizations. Treat and prevent existing diseases, treat both symptoms and root causes, and continuously improve management efficiency and level; The second is to collaborate and actively cooperate and support auditing. We should proactively provide relevant information, timely reflect the true situation, and make changes while reviewing, and continuously promote the continuous improvement of institutional mechanisms; The third is to be objective and fair, strictly abide by the law and standardize auditing. We must adhere to the principle of seeking truth from facts, analyze specific problems, firmly adhere to the law, regulations, and integrity of auditing, and strictly abide by auditing discipline and confidentiality regulations.

Finally, Xu Boqiang, Secretary of the Party Group and Executive Vice President of the Municipal Red Cross Society, made a statement, requesting all departments and subordinate units to: firstly, unify their thinking and attach great importance to the importance of auditing work; Secondly, strengthen organizational leadership and actively cooperate with audit work; The third is to focus on problem rectification and expand the application of audit results transformation.
