At the beginning of the New Year, the financial and foreign affairs Department of the Municipal Bureau planned to promote the audit of foreign investment in the New Year for the first time. First, actively docking the scope. After receiving the audit work plan for foreign loan assistance projects issued by the Audit Office in November 2023, we promptly dispatched staff to actively connect with the Municipal Finance Bureau and each project office in a timely manner to clarify the audit object and the audit period. After docking, we learned that for a new audit project included in the work program, because the sub-loan agreement has not yet been signed, the audit conditions are not available for the time being, so we timely reported to the foreign-related audit Department of the National Audit Office and gave a written explanation of the situation. The second is to carefully train energy storage. The comrades of the office collectively participated in the 2023 audit annual audit video training course on sovereign foreign loans and aid projects organized by the National Audit Office. Through the training, auditors have a deeper understanding of the audit object, scope and focus of sovereign foreign loan and aid projects, and learn the new trend of sovereign foreign loan and aid projects, domestic policy and institutional framework, project financial management and procurement policies, which lays a solid foundation for auditors to better perform their duties and improve audit quality. It provides guidance and follow for the New Year work. The third is to visit and investigate the direction. Combined with the rectification and return visits to the problems found in the audit of foreign loan and aid projects in 2023, as well as the requirements of the World Bank and the National Audit Office for the New Year audit work, it further clarified the audit objectives and directions of focusing on revealing hidden risks, promoting the improvement of project management level and the safe and efficient use of funds, and safeguarding national interests and national credibility.
